Face Forward ~ Who We Are

Face Forward was created by a group of friends in Denver, Colorado. We come from a broad range of backgrounds (dental, medical, and performance textiles), but together we had the shared intention and skillset to create the kind of masks that we feel confident wearing out-and-about with our own families in these crazy times.

 

Brad Poorman- CEO

 

Brad has been involved in protective and technical fabrics for over 34 years. Initially Brad launched Gore-Tex fabrics to Firefighters, Police and Emergency medical personnel and currently is CEO of Clean Textile Technology. In 1987, Brad was part of a team that revolutionized Firefighter boots to Gore-Tex leather boots (Warrington Pro’s) and extraction machines to clean their gear. Brad started and grew a series of cutting edge brands (eVent, Outlast, Cocona) where his products were Time Magazine Most Amazing products in 2003 and 2006. Additionally Mr Poorman was a finalist for Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the year in 2009 and won four ISPO and Outdoor Retailer gold awards for outstanding eco friendly awards for products 2008, 2010, 2015, 2018

 

 

Tielly Poorman- COO

Face Forward COO Tielly has 10 years of dental experience, and ran her own private practice in Curitiba, Brazil before moving to Denver. At the Smile Clinic in Curitiba, Brazil she specialized in Implantology, and Periodontology. As much as Tielly loves seeing blood, and performing surgeries she equally loves helping in the community, and did close to 4 years of community service helping people in need of dental work. She also has a love for animals and has rescued over 100 animals, and found them homes in the local community. Tielly, her husband Garrett, and baby Thaila currently reside in Denver. When Covid-19 entered in the US she was pacing trying to find a way she could help get involved, and is extatic to have stumbled upon a true preventative mask to protect her family and neighborhood.
